Terms of Service

Welcome to Leaf Host. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Leaf Host website (the "Site") and the Leaf Host Minecraft server (the "Server"), together the "Service", operated by the Leaf Host team ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, connecting to the Server, or purchasing anything through the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service and make purchases with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. Your account is tied to your Minecraft username.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account, and you may not access another user's account without authorization.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our server rules, or applicable law.

3. Credits & Virtual Goods

The Site sells "credits", an in-game virtual currency used to redeem cosmetic and gameplay perks, kits, ranks, and items ("Virtual Goods") on the Server. You understand and agree that:

• Credits and Virtual Goods have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and are not your property. You are purchasing a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use them within the Service.
• Credits and Virtual Goods are licensed, not sold. We may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue any Virtual Good, pricing, or the credits system at any time.
• New accounts may receive complimentary promotional credits. Promotional credits carry no cash value and may be revoked at any time.
• Delivery of certain Virtual Goods requires you to log in to the Server; some items are queued and delivered automatically on your next login.

4. Payments

Payments for credit purchases are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full card details. By making a purchase you also agree to Stripe's terms. All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and may change at any time. You are responsible for any taxes that may apply. Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use & Server Rules

When using the Service you agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized mods/hacks, or duplicate items or credits;
• Harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate other players or staff;
• Use chargebacks, payment fraud, or stolen payment methods;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, Server, accounts, or infrastructure, or probe, scan, or disrupt the Service (including DDoS, spam, or exploiting vulnerabilities);
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate;
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our written permission.

Violation may result in removal of Virtual Goods, suspension, or a permanent ban without refund.

6. Availability & Changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and the Server's world, data, or features may be reset, wiped, or changed. We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without liability.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be secure, error-free, or that data will not be lost.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Leaf Host team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or Virtual Goods. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim, or USD $20.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Leaf Host team from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
